Residence gallery

Our artists in residence have enriched the cultural life of Old Varkaus in many ways. They have organized and implemented events that give creative work a form of sharing: intimate reading sessions, inspiring workshops, discussions between artists, and communal celebrations.

 

On the left is the "Sonic Envision" instrument built by Suva from recycled materials at the residence.
