Rules of the Taideniity Graphics Workshop
1. The studio is available for hire to professional graphic artists, amateurs capable of working independently and for courses.
The user of the workshop must have sufficient professional skills to work independently with the equipment and tools available in the workshop.
2. Hours of use and access
Work in the graphics workshop is possible 24 hours a day. However, the working hours are quiet between 22:00 and 06:00, as there are residents, lodgers and artists-in-residence in the same room. The space is accessed with a key, which can be found on the door of cage A, in the door code box. The code is available after payment. The key is kept in the box.
3.
Courses will be held at the premises on an hourly basis and will be announced in advance. During the course, you can only work in the room reserved for the course if you have agreed this with the course instructor.
The course fee covers the use of facilities, equipment, tools and basic materials.
4.
The graphic design workshop will use the methods of graphic art, but artists using different techniques may also work in the same facilities.
The property of other co-workers, the association and Taideniity must be respected and other users must be taken into account. This is a shared studio space.
Each user is responsible for the maintenance of the space, i.e. cleaning up after themselves and clearing table surfaces. They must put things away, wash tools and surfaces, put equipment back in working order for the next user and take out the rubbish.
Care must be taken when using equipment, solvents and acids. Similarly, great care must be taken with presses, dies and other equipment. The press nozzles must be kept clean and the press clamp must be released after work.
The user is liable to pay compensation if, for example, the blankets are ruined during use.
5. Storage of tools and works
Personal tools and materials may be stored during the work period. Personal equipment must be removed as soon as the personal work pass expires.
6. Alarms
The premises are covered by an automatic alarm system and there are several fire alarms on the ceilings which must not be removed or covered.
6.
The user of the workshop is liable to pay for any alarms caused by his own negligence or ignorance and for any damage caused to the premises, machinery and equipment or materials, and to the works and property of others.
Taideniitty will not be liable for damage to the user's property or personal injury. The user of the workshop shall take out such accident and liability insurance as it deems necessary.
Advice should be sought in advance if the user of the premises is uncertain about any aspect of the technology or use of the premises. If a problem arises during work, the work must be stopped and the matter must be clarified before continuing.
7. Graphics Workshop bans:
Working while intoxicated is prohibited. It is also prohibited to bring pets into the workshop. No outsiders are allowed on the premises either (those who have not paid for a pass).
Smoking inside is strictly forbidden. If this occurs, you will lose your right to work.
9. Other points to note
The last user must ensure that all electrical appliances are switched off, lights are switched off and doors are closed.
10. Disturbances in the workshop.
If the user of the workshop breaks the rules or otherwise causes a disturbance in the workshop, Taideniity has the right to prohibit him/her from working in the workshop.
